Whew! So episode two wasn’t really as exciting or dramatic as episode one. I do, however, have some things to say (and you can add on to the list as well) about this week’s show.
First off, as a parent I understand where Kim is coming from in wanting her child to have the best. As a southern girl, I understand the meaning of “go big or go home”. It’s just how we do and I can tell Kim has a little of that in her. I thought the idea for Brielle’s party was GREAT. It’s something for 10-11 year old children: sleepover, fashion show, all the sweets you can eat, I’m sure they had a great time. I think Kim did a great job in planning and making sure it was what she wanted but I do think she kind of made a big deal out of the whole BUT her daughter was being a little unappreciative for a minute. Or maybe that was just me & Kim noticing that.
Second, I’ma need DeShawn to get a backbone. I know she’s a “working” housewife and she has children–little boys–but I need for her NOT to act like she’s not going to make it after getting them dressed and out of the door. She should be jumping for joy after that. Lord please send this child some staff ASAP! LOL.
Nene…My second favorite cast member. I loved how she was all “in it” during the college tour. She seemed to be more interested in the campus and buildings and talking to the people than Bricen did. I do understand his point of view though. He said that she means well but she can be embarassing but hey, that’s any parent! I just bout fell out when she asked the tour guide if you could paint the walls or hang a plasma up. And oh how she blasted her baby saying he couldn’t keep a clean room! I love her. I also love how she and Sheree` put their differences aside for that party. Very grown up.
Last but not least, I LOVE Ed Hartwell and Lisa’s relationship. They seem to really click. I thought it was so beautiful how he made her the homemade chicken soup. It’s the little things sometimes.
So that’s all I have to say about this week’s episode. If you missed it, it’ll run on Bravo every day until next week’s episode comes on. Also, there’s been a change in time. Instead of coming on at 9/8 central, it’ll come on at 10/9 central (its original time).
